My Mission
“My Center is a place that I can go to that I know I am free to be myself. I can make friends, learn new things, identify my strengths, and have fun. My Center has welcoming and patient staff who are here to support and encourage me to reach my full potentials, even with my different abilities.”
My Center uniquely provides a daily routine of recreational activities, supports, and educational programming for adults experiencing life with a developmental disability and/or dual diagnosis in an including community setting.
My Vision

My Center establishes an inclusive environment for every member that enters our doors. My Center believes that there are no limitations to what each member can accomplish. At My Center there is always a creative avenue to achieve our goals, hopes, and dreams. My Center supports each and every one of our members in strengthening their independence, while still maintaining an enjoyable routine.
My Values
“My Center values my opinions, believes in my dreams, and encourages my success. The staff here at My Center treat me with dignity, respect, empowerment, self-worth, integrity, and competence. My Center staff are available to support me, and my family, with any struggles that we may face. My Center recognizes how important it is for me to build/maintain meaningful relationships, and feel like I am a part of my community. My Center helps me become my own self-advocate.”
My Center maintains a professional and respectful rapport with all of our members. Every member of My Center is treated with the utmost dignity and respect that they deserve in accordance with our Canadian Human Rights and Freedoms, and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (2005).
All members and staff of My Center participate in a safe environment, free of harassment and discrimination of any shape or form. My Center protects the confidentiality of all of its members.
My Center promotes a sense of community belonging within our walls and throughout our outside communities. My Center promotes an inclusive and diverse environment that places no limitations or restrictions on our members from achieving their goals and build their independence.
